established Beaute Asylum in 2013. She is mother of 2 daughters her youngest Story & oldest, the talented Rapper on Pointe Reni Ramos . Lavette has been a Nail Technician since August 2007, and an Esthetician since March of 2012.

 

In January 2015 She was named NAILS NEXT TOP NAIL ARTIST. Since winning the global Nail Competition, she raises the bar of nail excellence. March 2015 Lavette was named the The 1st NEXT GEN Nail Artist of Beauty Changes Lives.

 

Lead Nail Artist of NEW YORK FASHION WEEK, designing intricate, bold, and exclusive nail art for THE BLONDS, and LIBERTINE , who are luxury fashion brands adorned by top Celebrities.

 

Editorial work including: the cover of NAILS MAGAZINE, issues of ESSENCE MAGAZINE , and ALLURE MAGAZINE. 

 

Her  work has been featured  in countless blogs & digital articles such as GOOD MORNING AMERICA Refinery 29, and many more.

 

In 2020 she was awarded the Beauty Industry's Mother of the Year.

Lavette's 15 yrs as a Nail Pro, evolved a passion of Fashion, traveling, giving back, and teaching her nail techniques & creativity-to nail pros, nail students and the youth.
